Arranging Spouses

To rearrange the order of a person´s spouses:

1.

Highlight the father or mother in the family with more than one spouse.

2.

Choose "Edit, Rearrange, Spouses" from the main menu, or click on "Spouse" at the left of the Info Area and select "Rearrange Spouses" from the drop down menu.

3.

You can arrange the spouses in one of 3 ways:

a.

Use your mouse to highlight the spouse you want to move and drag the spouse to the desired location before releasing the mouse button.

b.

Click the "Move up" or "Move down" buttons to change the spouse’s position.

c.

Click the "Sort by marriage date" button to have RootsMagic automatically sort the spouses for you, if marriage dates have been entered.

4.

Click OK to save the new order, or Cancel to exit without saving any changes..
