To set the root person, position the mouse over the name of a person in any of the Pedigree, Family, Descendants, or people views, click the right mouse button and select Position > Set root person from the pop-up menu.

Click the Home button on the People page or press Home on your keyboard to return to the root person. This command is especially useful if you get lost in your database and want to quickly return to the root person.
