Couple list view
The Family list displays all families in your database. You can bring up the family list by selecting "Search, family list" from the main menu, or by pressing Ctrl+Shift+F. It can also be opened from the To-Do list report.
The family list has columns for father (husband), mother (wife), and marriage date. As you move up and down the list and select couples, the right side of the dialog will be updated with all the members of the family (father, mother, and children).
You can view the information on the person's Edit Person screen for the father or mother by highlighting the couple, then clicking on the "Edit Father" or "Edit Mother" button at the top of the dialog. Beside the Edit buttons, there is a drop list that lets you sort the Family List by the Father, the Mother or the Date.
If you click the "OK" button, RootsMagic will change the main screen to display the selected family (or select the family highlighted in the To-Do list.) If you click the "Cancel" button, RootsMagic will return to the main screen without making any changes or selection.
