Person Search (Advanced)

To find a person using parameters other than name or record number, use the Search dialog. In the first field, select the field name to search, i.e. fact type name or "any fact". The second field drop down list is based on the selection in the first field. From the third field you select an operator, and in the last field you would enter a value, which could be a date, a place name, etc.

Compound searches can be created by entering multiple rows of search parameters, each separated by either "and" or "or".

Click "OK" to perform the search, or "Cancel" to abandon the search and exit the dialog.

Click "Clear" to reset all of the the field contents to their initial settings, thereby allowing you to start over.
