Occasionally you may accidentally enter the sex of a husband and wife backwards, or the given names were ambiguous which made entering the sex erratic. If you try to edit these people, you will find that you are not able to change their sex field unless you unlink them first.
To switch the positions of a husband and wife:
1.
Do "Edit, Swap husband and wife" from the main menu.
2.
Click "Swap husband and wife" to confirm that you really want to do this. Click "Cancel" to abandon the change.
If either the husband or wife has another spouse, RootsMagic will not allow you to swap their positions.
